Engines and transmissions delivered across South Africa and SADC

Every engine and transmission we sell leaves from our headquarters at Wilgeboom Plot 153, Potchefstroom, North West. From there a unit can reach a workshop or a home address in any of South Africa’s nine provinces, and we also deliver across the border to Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Lesotho, Eswatini and Malawi.

How a unit is packed

Before a unit is loaded, open ports are capped and the engine or gearbox is strapped down on a pallet or inside a wooden crate. Heavy-duty truck engines go on a solid skid. Packing this way protects the sump, bellhousing and sensors from knocks on the road and lets a forklift or a couple of strong hands offload it safely at the other end.

Courier or freight

Smaller car engines and gearboxes usually travel with a national courier on a door-to-door service. Larger units, truck engines and long cross-border trips go with a freight carrier. You can have the unit sent straight to the fitting workshop, which saves moving a heavy item twice, or to your home or business.

Cross-border orders

For SADC deliveries we prepare the commercial invoice and the engine number paperwork, and we work with you or your clearing agent so the documents match what customs expects at the border. Import duty and clearance fees in your country are paid by the buyer.

What the quote includes

When you ask for a price, tell us the town and the delivery address. The quote you receive shows the unit price and the delivery cost together, so you know the full amount before you pay. Pick your area below for route details and local notes.

Frequently asked questions

Do you deliver to towns that are not listed here?

Yes. The pages above cover the main cities, but we deliver to all nine provinces and to smaller towns too. Send us the address and we will price the delivery in your quote.

Who pays import duty on cross-border orders?

The buyer pays duty and clearance in their own country, usually through a clearing agent. We supply the commercial invoice and engine number paperwork the agent needs.

Can the engine go straight to my mechanic?

Yes. Most customers have the unit delivered directly to the fitting workshop. Give us the workshop name, address and a contact number when you confirm the order.
